HEAD TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
Ken Trimble has been a golf professional since 1984 and has spent 10 years as a touring professional, competing on the Australasian, European and Asian Tours, with tournament victories including the 1990 NSW Open and the 1990 Bolton Old Links Challenge in the UK. Ken finished runner up in 5 Australasian Tour events and was a prolific Pro-Am winner. He has also established 12 course records and competed in the 1990 Open at St Andrews and 1992 Open at Muirfield.
Ken comes to Georges River Golf Course following his role as Director of Golf at Concord Golf Club since 1997. At Concord, Ken established the Practice Range and raised the profile of the coaching business. His most successful students to date include Shelly Shin and Won Joon Lee – who both became World Champions, and recently Josh Cabban who won the PNG Open.
He also co-established a Junior Program that won the Jack Newton Golf Foundation’s most successful program in 2013.
