MEMBERS COMPETITIONS
When you join a new golf club, the first thing you want to do is get out onto the course! As a member, not only can you enjoy a round of golf whenever you want, but you are also able to take part in any of our competition rounds held throughout the week. Here’s how you can sign up.
SATURDAY COMPETITION
The Committee holds a monthly sign-up for members on a scheduled basis. To access the schedule please visit the Members Page on this website.
The Wednesday Night Sign-up covers four weeks, which is spread across two draws held on the one night (ie. First Draw: Weeks 1 and 2; Second Draw: Weeks 3 and 4).
On the night, members register with the committeemen, who are put into the draw. Registration opens around 6pm and will close immediately before the draw. At 7pm, the first draw begins and Members are drawn out from the registration and invited to sign their group up for the first two weeks.
Following this (and a short break), the second (and new drawing of members) draw will begin, with members again invited to sign their group up for the second two weeks.
Members are encouraged to attend the Wednesday Night Sign-up to avoid missing out on a Saturday tee time. The more members from the same group that attend, the more chances there are that your group will get your preferred tee time. There is a huge 3-tray meat raffle held every Wednesday Night Sign-up, proudly sponsored by Barry’s Meats in Padstow.
After the draw, the four weeks of sign-up sheets (and the remanding tee times) will be available the next Saturday morning for members to fill in the gaps.
